PT. Catur Yasa is a prospering Construction and Trading company originally established in 1972 in Medan, North Sumatra. On 1980 the company operation base moved to Jakarta, and expanded its field of services.

Catur Yasa Construction engineering is one of the leading construction firms in Indonesia servicing project of all size and it has managed the construction of a variety of industrial plant and Infrastructure project.

Area of major activities includes the construction and renovation of Oil/Gas treating such as  Export Oriented Refinary and Polypropylene Plant in Balongan, Indramayu, West Java, Refinery, Petrochemical plant in Cilegon, Manufacture, Power Generating, Refurbishment and Gasification operation such as in Tanjung Priok for 4 x 50 MW Power Plant, Electrical Transmission and Distribution Network, Management of two Freeport Power Plant in Irian Jaya,  and investment in Indonesia’s first privately owned power plant, Paiton Energy Corporation.etc.

The company maintains a good cooperative climate on a nation wide basis with both private and governmental institution.
