FOREWORD FROM PRESIDENT COMMISIONER
The main sources of energy in Indonesia up to the moment and for a considerable time in the future will be gas and oil. To meet the rising demand for energy throughout Indonesia as well as Asia on the whole, exploration as well as construction of transmission and distribution network will as much needed as in the past.
One of the most important change in the Oil and Gas policy is the opening of the downstream activities to private investors that ended the monopolistic pattern and gearing the downstream sectors into market competition.
